The project consists of the EPC and Operation & Maintenance of a Sanitary landfill in Tripoli, Lebanon.
The works include the following:
- Planning and programming the extension works in a way not to interrupt the landfilling operation of (460 T/day)
- Landfill extension works:
• Earthworks and access road construction
• Construction of an intermediate peripheral leachate collection system with vertical wells
- Upgrading and extending the leachate collection and landfill Gas (LFG) extraction system
- Planning and programming the operation activities
- Managing the daily works at the landfill
- Monitoring the incoming waste (weight and characteristics)
- Daily spreading and compaction of incoming wastes
- Daily and intermediate cover
- Design, build, operate and maintain a 30m3/day LTD
- Leachate collection and treatment
- Erect, operate and maintain an LFG extraction SYSTEM and flaring Unit (1,800m3/hr)
- Environmental Monitoring activities
